Character Bios - The Strangerhood
Sam was raised to have respect for others, and to expect others to respect him. Starting at age 5 he won his school's congeniality award for 12 years in a row, only losing out in his last year to a girl who single-handedly brought peace to Palestine while caring for a hundred and thirteen homeless puppies and a crippled parakeet.
He was taught to give people space, and because he's used to giving others space he also expects people to give him space, and not to crowd him. Having been brought up to basically play by the rules and be polite, he's kind of grown in to a stick in the mud, not even venturing the occasional profanity in to his daily life.
