I've heard a rumor that RT will be taking the next month or so off from work (mostly) to be with family for the holidays. That's not going to stop me from providing more content for you, I'm going to keep writing stuff for you to read because that's what I do. Look for more episode analysis in the coming weeks, as well as a couple surprises.

I'm also going to be updating the code behind this site a little bit. You've probably already noticed some of this as the layout of feedback comments and news items have both been changed to something a little nicer.

Alright, there are a few things to announce in this news post. First, the days of site-related polls are over... or at least on hold for a while. Now that the site is up and running smoothly (over 6000 unique IP hits... w00t!), it's time to start using the polls for their original purpose... fun! The new poll, which went up about 10 hours ago, asks why you think Griggs killed Nikki in The Strangerhood.

Also, the transcript for Red vs Blue episode 68: Getting All Misty is now up. Follow the R's: read, rate, rejoice.

I have some other stuff to work on over the next couple days, but I should be able to write up the rest of the episode analysese for PANICS by the end of the week. And that wasn't just a cheap excuse to list this news item under PANICS too... I promise.

The transcripts for Strangerhood episode 9 and the Red vs Blue video "Zero O'clock" (the XBox 360 Zero Hour video) are now up and running. Well, not exactly running, but they're sitting there waiting for you.

This site's actually coming along pretty smoothly, I'm really quite impressed with how it's all working out. Launching to an existing fanbase is the best way to launch. Here's what this site has accomplished in three short weeks:

• 5160 unique IP hits
• 314 users

Also, more than 55% of those who have voted so far have said they want to see profiles, messaging and forums on this site. I have plans to make this a general community site, so I was already planning to write these features anyway, but now I know you want to see them here rather than me keeping them tucked away in a back room somewhere chained to a bedpost. The poll's still open though for those who want to check.

Also, look for transcripts for the Red vs Blue video "Zero Hour" and Strangerhood episode 9 soon. I've been delayed by other things I have to do, but hopefully I'll have some time later today to get the RvB transcript up.

Also, some time between 1:30PM and 2:30PM EST the server time was rolled back just over 6 hours, so comment and news times will be a little bit off. As soon as the problem is rectified, I'll be going in to the database and manually adjusting the times of ...everything done between 1:30PM today and whenever the problem is fixed. The point is it's a known bug, but I don't have any direct control over it. -This bug has been squished.

Yep. Also, expect a new poll soon. Site's just rolling along!

In other site-related news, use and membership are both picking up quite nicely. The site launched just over 72 hours ago, and we already have 250 members and 1900 unique IP hits. I love it when things go smoothly, don't you?

Yup. It took a couple hours of coding and tweaking, but you may now leave comments on news items. You'll be able to comment on polls soon too.

Little improvements like this will keep coming until I'm fully satisfied with the site in its current form. Look for significantly larger things further down the road, too.
